Our client is a NDIS approved organisation that also provides tenancy for its care clients. Due to growth, they are seeking experienced support worker to make a meaningful impact in the lives of their clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing personal support and companionship, requiring flexibility with rostered hours, including weekends.

**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience as a support worker or similar role, preferably in a disability.
- Able to adapt and stay claim in challenging situations.
- Experience in supporting Participants with daily living tasks.
- Willing to provide personal care for both female and male participants.
- Willing to work morning, afternoons and evenings
- Assist the client with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility assistance, and medication management.
- Accompany the client to appointments, outings, and social activities as required.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Preparing meals and domestic cleaning
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.
- Provide personal care to participants (e.g bathing, administering medication etc.)

**Qualifications needed**:

- Certificate III in social and community work or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- NSW Working with Children’s Check (WWC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC)
- Police Check (Valid if within 5 years)

**Desirables**:

- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Experience working with vulnerable people

Pay: $73,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Rotating roster

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
