ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. About the Role

You will be responsible for providing clerical services including maintenance of electronic and hard copy health records, maintaining databases and information management systems, filing and photocopying and ordering stationery. You will also communicate with internal and external customers to obtain patient information as required. The work you undertake will be in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures, Medical-in-Confidence and Staff-in-Confidence standards.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Available to work Part Time (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday's)
  • The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
  • Minimum of 1 year full-time experience in an Administrative role (or part-time equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a customer service focused environment (desirable).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients.

About Simpson

Simpson Barracks is located at Yallambie VIC 3085 (approx. 40 mins North-East of Melbourne CBD). Predominately a Forces Command training base supporting Defence Force School of Signals (tri-service technicians & operators, electronic warfare systems), Defence Force School of Music (tri-service musicians) and Army Education Centre. The Army base services approximately 6000 Defence members and operates a 9 bed low dependency ward 24/7. The health centre also provides primary medical, nursing, physiotherapy, dental and mental health services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
