**About the Centre**

Macleod Recreation and Fitness Centre is well known within the community as providing excellent facilities and services relating to health and fitness. The Health and Wellness area is one of the most recognisable features of the Macleod YMCA, currently attracting over 700 regular members and maintaining a number of health and fitness programs including group fitness classes, special needs groups, a fully equipped gym space as well as personal training.

**About the role**

We are looking for motivated and qualified Les Mills Instructors to join the team at Macleod YMCA.

We are particularly looking for the following:

- Body Pump,
- Body Step,
- Body Balance,
- Tone.

As a Group Fitness Instructor you will be an integral part of the business in driving a strong community to achieve their health and wellness goals.

You will use your knowledge & skills to deliver an amazing experience for our members.

This is a casual position and the hourly is $60.27 + super.

**About you**

We are looking for enthusiastic people who can develop rapport with a wide range of members while fostering a commitment to their improved Health and Wellbeing. This is undertaken by conducting safe, appropriate and engaging group fitness classes. You will be relied upon to motivate, educate and enhance each participant’s experience.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Relevant Les Mills Qualification (Body Pump, Body Step, Body Balance, or Tone)
- Current registration with Fitness Australia
- Group Exercise Leader Certificate
- Perform CPR Certificate

**Other Requirements**
- 20 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) every two years, in order to maintain your registration with Fitness Australia
