The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and personable Clinical Receptionist/Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. This is a crucial role that combines administrative efficiency with direct patient support, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Bilingual Communication & Patient Experience

Fluently communicate with patients in both Mandarin and English (in person, by phone, and via email/text).

Manage patient bookings, confirmations, and initial inquiries.

Process new patient registrations and assist with intake forms.

Administrative & Clinical Support

Manage the reception area, including answering phones and greeting patients with warmth.

Process payments, manage invoicing, and handle basic billing queries.

Maintain patient files (electronic and hard copy) with strict adherence to privacy policies.

Assist the treating physiotherapists with minor clinical tasks (e.g., preparing treatment rooms, restocking linen/supplies, managing equipment maintenance).

What You'll Bring

Essential: Fluency in both Mandarin and English.

Some experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably within a medical or allied health setting.

Exceptional organisational skills and a strong attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinic management software (Cliniko) is a bonus, but training will be provided.

A positive, proactive, and professional attitude.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $24.95 – $36.25 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
