We're partnering with a dynamic organisation in the CBD seeking a Payroll Officer on a 6 month fixed term contract. This role offers flexible work from home arrangements and the chance to be part of a team during an exciting systems implementation project.

About the Role

Reporting to a hands on and knowledgable Payroll Manager and working within a team environment, this role is suited to someone who is curious, adaptable, and capable of performing full function payroll.

Duties:

  • Perform end to end payroll processing
  • Process leave calculations including long service, maternity, and parental leave
  • Demonstrate strong payroll system knowledge
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform superannuation and tax calculations accurately
  • Respond to and resolve all payroll related queries

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to perform full function payroll, including processing terminations and redundancies
  • Experience with Employment Hero or Elmo highly desirable
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience interpreting complex legislative agreements
