The Team:

Hellyer CHN & HCS covers areas including but not limited to Burnie, Wynyard & Penguin including rural districts of Riana, Ridgely, Natone, Yolla, Myalla, Sisters Beach, and Waratah.

The Role:

We are seeking applications for Home Help Personal Carer at Hellyer Community Nursing and Home Care Services.

The successful candidates will work effectively as a member of the Primary Health Care Team delivering personal care and/or domestic assistance to clients in the community in their home environment.

You will need:

  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support/Aged Care or other relevant qualifications if employed to provide personal care.
  • Current First Aid certificate

Details of appointment:

Multiple permanent full time and part time, shift worker not working weekends but working public holidays positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $57,130 to $62,486 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

Salary Packaging:

You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
