Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is the first level of the Victorian court system and is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria. It has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 locations, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the Role
Support people on bail with complex needs and help reduce reoffending through tailored case management.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Case Manager to join the Court Integrated Services Program (CISP) team at Dandenong Magistrates' Court. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting clients with complex needs through person-centred case management and coordinated access to treatment and support services.
As a CISP Case Manager, you will:
• Provide case management to clients on bail or summons with a range of complex needs.
• Conduct needs and risk assessments and develop individual support plans.
• Coordinate access to services including housing, mental health, alcohol and drug treatment, and family violence interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Prepare court reports and provide advice or evidence to the Court.
• Deliver brief interventions and immediate support to court users.
• Identify and manage client risks using harm minimisation strategies.
• Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders including judiciary, legal professionals, and community service providers.

About You
You are a dedicated professional with:
• Proven experience in assessing and managing cases involving clients with complex and multifaceted needs.
• Strong understanding of treatment and support pathways, including mental health, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), housing, and family violence services.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver culturally responsive and inclusive support that respects the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients.
• Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, welfare, alcohol and other drugs, disability, or a closely related discipline will be highly regarded.
