Exciting
opportunity to lead the establishment and growth of a strategic Enterprise
Project Management Office (EPMO) within a dynamic and forward-thinking local
council. As part of the Business Enablement team, you will play a pivotal role
in delivering organisation-wide transformation through effective project
governance, capability uplift and strategic alignment. The ideal candidate will
have:
- Certification
in project management or PMO practice, with demonstrated experience in
establishing and embedding enterprise-wide project management frameworks. - Proven
ability to coach and mentor stakeholders to uplift project delivery capability
and maturity. - Strong
analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to design and deliver
dashboards and governance reports that inform strategic decision-making.

About the role
The Business Enablement team is seeking an
experienced Project Management Office Lead to establish and manage Manningham's
Enterprise Project Management Office. You will embed a fit-for-purpose
Enterprise Project Management Framework (EPMF), provide strategic portfolio
guidance and build project delivery capability across the organisation. This
role is critical in enabling transformation and ensuring alignment with
organisational priorities.
Skills and experience
- Proven
experience in establishing and leading PMOs within complex organisational
environments. - Strong
capability in designing and implementing enterprise-wide project
management frameworks. - Demonstrated
ability to coach and mentor stakeholders to uplift project management
maturity. - Expertise
in portfolio management, including prioritisation, benefits realisation
and performance tracking. - Strong
financial and contract management skills. - Excellent
communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to
influence at all levels. - Experience
in facilitating workshops and delivering targeted training programs. - Ability
to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex business environments.
