Our client is a respected supplier of end of line packaging systems throughout Australia. We are seeking an enthusiastic Field Service Technician to join their dynamic service team based in Sydney's west. If you have a passion for Field Service and are looking for a job with a growing business who will provide training and development opportunities, this role is the ideal next step in your career

Reporting to the Technical Manager, your duties will include:

  • Installing and commissioning of packaging machinery on customer sites
  • Machinery maintenance/service activities
  • Attending to calls for breakdown assistance
  • Completing service reports to a high standard
  • Being a point of contact for customer calls and entering service requests into a calendar

This role will see you take on some supervision and coordination tasks for a small team of Service Technicians, so if you are looking for the chance to take that next step in your Field Service career this is the job for you

In order to succeed, you will need:

  • Relevant trade/tertiary qualifications
  • A Restricted Electrical Licence is an advantage however support can be provided to obtain this
  • Good electro-mechanical skills and understanding
  • High level of attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong communication skills and an enthusiasm for providing high-level customer service
  • Previous Field Service or packaging machinery experience highly regarded
