Company Description

Elecdata has been providing telecommunication and electrical services to the New South Wales commercial and government sectors for over 28 years. Due to recent expansion into the security sector and with contracts with councils and educational institutions we are seeking qualified security technicians to join our team and be exposed to cross disciplinary training in all aspects of telecommunications, electrical and security.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electronic Security Service Technician. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, commissioning, servicing and maintaining repairing existing security systems as well as new installs.

With a separate cabling team, and multiple divisions, join a team that can provide the support and development to grow your career.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Service and Maintain Alarm, Access Control, Intercom and IP CCTV solutions
  • Commission Alarm, IP CCTV, Intercom and Access Control Systems.
  • Solar, IoT and custom design
  • Complete Service and Maintenance Reports via Mobile App
  • Have the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Successful Candidate Must Have:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a service role
  • Current NSW 2C Security Licence
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • Current Cabling Registration
  • NSW Work Cover General Induction Card
