ZIMMERMANN is searching for a Retail Buyers Assistant to join our dynamic Retail Buying team at our Head Office in Rosebery. This is an opportunity for a passionate and meticulous individual to support the entire buying process for our global Swimwear, Footwear, and Accessories collections.

Reporting directly to the Retail Buying Director and working closely with our experienced Buyers, you will play an important role in shaping ZIMMERMANN's global presence.

The Role

As a Retail Buyers Assistant, you will be integral to our team's success, providing essential support across key functions, from trend analysis to inventory management. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis & Insights: Prepare detailed weekly and seasonal sales reports, identify top-performing products, and provide strategic insights into store and regional performance.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain precise line sheets, manage stock levels, and provide crucial administrative support to the buying and planning teams.
  • Buying Process Support: Participate in store visits, manage critical path timelines, and coordinate with our production and logistics teams. You will also assist with building stock packages, creating assortment plans, and managing sales and purchase orders.

What You Will Bring

We are looking for someone with an eye for luxury and a deep understanding of the retail landscape. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least one year of experience in a similar role, ideally within the luxury retail sector.
  • Proven experience with sales analysis, stock management, and allocations.
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office, and a familiarity with ERP systems such as AP21, is highly regarded.
  • The ability to be highly organised, with a proven track record of meeting strict and often competing deadlines.
  • A meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach.
