Contractor Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker - Flexible, Warm & Modern Practice (Cockburn Central / WA). Flexibility to work in practice, telehealth or blended. Generous % split.

We're growing at Allied Health for Wellness and looking for a Registered Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker who values compassion, autonomy, and genuine collaboration.

• Candidates must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
• Candidates must hold either AHPRA Psychologist registration or AASW Social Worker registration and be eligible for Medicare Provider No.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in trauma-informed practice is required.
• Practical experience in trauma-informed treatment and neuroaffirming approaches is essential. Specialist experience highly desirable.

What you'll be doing

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological or social work interventions to our diverse client base
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address each client's unique needs
• Collaborate with other allied health professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to client care
• Maintain detailed client records and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service offerings
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology or Social Work, with current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker
• Strong clinical skills in evidence-based psychological or social work interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients
• Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centred care
• Flexible and adaptable to work within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment

Experience we value:

• Trauma-informed, strengths-based care.
• Neuroaffirming understanding of ADHD/Autism.
• Experience in ADHD/ASD assessment highly regarded.
• ADOS-2 certification = winning But not required.

Requirements: Professional registration with AHPRA, AASW or other relevant body, ABN, PI/ PL insurance, Medicare compliance.
