GCI has a strong and demonstrable track record in the Australian private credit sector, having successfully invested in excess of $1.4bn across their range of mid-market strategies. Their success has been underpinned by the support of a diverse and loyal investor base who have backed the inception and subsequent growth of their private credit investment strategies. They are now seeking a highly motivated Investor Relations and Marketing Assistant to support their investor relations and marketing efforts, with an emphasis on digital strategies to help amplify their business objectives.
Suitable candidates will have 1–3 years of experience in investor relations, marketing, or digital marketing related roles, with a passion for financial markets and a knack for relationship-building. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
The role will involve:
- Maintaining accurate investor records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Supporting investor communications, including newsletters, reports, and updates.
- Keeping investor materials (e.g., pitch decks, quarterly reports) current and on-brand.
- Responding promptly to investor enquiries to foster positive relationships.
- Analysing investor data to support strategic decisions.
- Assisting in planning and executing marketing events, such as roadshows and webinars, for both capital raising and private credit origination channels.
- Supporting event logistics, including vendor coordination and attendee management.
- Helping create marketing collateral, including brochures and social media posts.
- Conducting market research, including competitor analysis, to inform marketing strategies.
- Building and curating databases to support the generation of marketing qualified leads and ensuring Salesforce data is appropriately captured.
- Collaborating with teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Executing digital marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and investor engagement across platforms like LinkedIn and through the use of e-marketing via Campaign Monitor.
- Utilising AI-driven tools to optimise social media content, track performance metrics, and improve audience targeting.
- Creating and curating engaging digital content, including videos, infographics, and blog posts, to strengthen GCI's online presence.
- Monitoring and analysing digital marketing performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to refine strategies and maximise ROI.
Preferred candidates will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
- 1–3 years in investor relations, marketing, or client-facing roles (internships included).
- Strong understanding of business principles and interest in financial markets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing tools (e.g., Campaign Monitor, Canva).
- Strong and demonstrable interest in digital marketing strategies and AI implementation to support such.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
