About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the retail team at Eat Shop Love's Collective store in Stockland Shellharbour - The Society as a Retail Sales Assistant on a full-time traineeship basis. You will be based at our store in Shellharbour, NSW and play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Warmly greet and assist customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising
  • Restock and replenish products as needed
  • Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
  • Support team members with various administrative and operational tasks
  • Be involved in our marketing and social media activities.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

What we're looking for

  • A friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic numeracy and cash handling experience
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required
