About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at the Bega Betta Home Living store located in Bega, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their purchasing decisions.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide knowledgeable assistance across our extensive range of products, including whitegoods, cooking appliances, audio-visual equipment, information technology, Jaycar and Weber
- Processing sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintaining store presentation and visual merchandising standards
- Restocking and replenishing products as needed
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
- Excellent product knowledge and the ability to confidently discuss and recommend products
- Attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environment
