Office Services Assistant

About the role
Our national office services function supports our firm to run smoothly and efficiently.
The wider team consists of national reception, records management, offices services and catering. Our Brisbane office currently has an opportunity for a motivated Office Services Assistant to work 3 days per week, Wednesday to Friday. This will include reception cover from 4.30 – 5.30 pm on Thursday and Friday.
Day to day your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordination of mailroom and couriers
- Records management lodgement, retrieval and coordination of archived files
- Brief runs and deliveries as required
- Attending to urgent Court lodgements
- Preparing access cards and assisting with office moves and new starters
- Providing reception relief to cover breaks or unexpected leave including greeting clients and assisting with meeting room set-up
- Stationary stocktake and ordering
- Assisting catering team with events as required
- General administration
About you
You will have prior administration and/ or customer service experience, ideally within a legal or professional services environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with a team based and client first approach.
To be successful in this role you will also have:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with sound written and verbal communication
- Fast and accurate typing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft office
- Excellent attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a team-based environment with a commitment to contributing to positive team morale and engagement
- A can-do attitude with plenty of initiative
- Available to be in the office on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (until 5.30 pm on Thursday and Friday)
Knowledge of Work10 and Aderant will be highly regarded however not essential as training will be provided.
