Principle Data Integrity and Disclosure

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Integrity and Disclosure to join Sandfire on a fixed-term contract covering a period of maternity leave. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of non-financial data used in both internal and external reporting. You will oversee company-wide data systems and reporting processes, lead the consolidation and verification of key performance metrics, and collaborate across functions to deliver transparent, evidence-based reporting. You will play a key role in supporting external messaging and ensuring ESG rating agencies have access to accurate and up-to-date information.

Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

  • Maintain a central sustainability data repository.
  • Lead Atticus utilisation and evaluate and implement any other technological solutions to support improvement in data integrity.
  • Lead the end-to-end preparation of the sustainability report including supporting climate change and Modern Slavery preparation to ensure alignment of the reporting suite and consistency in data cross-over.
  • Analyse ESG reporting trends, market ratings and standards to provide strategic input to the business.
  • Lead the relationship with external assurance providers.
  • Coordinate internal data collection from cross-functional teams to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Work closely with the operating sites, exploration and projects to collect, validate and interpret sustainability data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Data Analytics, engineering, accounting or related field.

About You

  • Familiarity with non-financial assurance processes
  • Experience working with technologies/systems to support reporting
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and plan work programs
  • 5+ years of experience in data management, analysis and reporting
  • Proven experience with data governance, assurance and audit principles
  • Deep understanding of mining-specific sustainability topics.
