About the Role
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems and electrical/pneumatic control systems
  • Install, commission, and modify equipment, including control panels, switchboards, and wiring
  • Assist with fault finding on instrumentation and weighing systems
  • Provide immediate response to equipment breakdowns
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, electrical standards, and permit requirements
  • Supervise apprentices and support broader team activities when required
About You
  • Fully qualified Electrician with a current Australian Electrical License
  • Proven experience in an industrial or FMCG environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong problem-solving skills in fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Familiar with PLC systems, control valves, and pneumatics
  • Ability to read and produce electrical drawings
  • Basic welding skills (Oxy, MIG/TIG with stainless steel) desirable
