Our client, a privately-owned global leader in Meat Processing, has presented exciting openings for Full-Time Day Shift AND Night Shift Maintenance Electricians at their Northern Brisbane production facility. Due to demand, the business is adding to their 4000+ employees during this growth phase.

Full-Time Salaried position

  • Day Shift (4am – 4pm): Minimum $45 per hour
  • Night Shift (4pm – 4am): Minimum $53 per hour
  • 4 days on, 5 days off, then 5 days on, 4 days off

The Role

Supporting the Engineering and Production teams, you will;
  • Provide technical plant equipment and system support during breakdowns, shutdowns and all preventative maintenance activities
  • Ensure maintenance & repairs are carried out to meet OEM standards and specifications
  • Contribute with ideas around continuous improvement

You, Your Skills, Experience And Qualifications

With your values based on trust and integrity, we are looking for a flexible, reliable and punctual technician, with a drive to exceed and grow with learning.

Ideal;
  • Full Electrician's trade license
  • 1+ year post-trade Maintenance Technician experience in a fast-paced industrial environment with Electro-Mechanical machinery
  • Can read Electrical drawings
  • Sound mechanical maintenance aptitude
  • Motivation for Fault finding/diagnosis on systems and equipment
  • Team player, willing to slightly adjust shift times to cover teammates
  • Basic PLC/SCADA, VSD and motor control troubleshooting
