Metal-Tech Industries is currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Press Brake Operator.

For over 30 years Metal-Tech has been supplying precision sheet metal components using the latest CNC Laser Cutting, Punching and Bending technology. This technology as well as a full welding / fabrication service plus in-house powder coating makes Metal-Tech Industries your one stop sheet metal shop.

(Afternoon shift also available)

To be considered for this position it is essential that you meet the following criteria:

· Minimum 2 years trade experience.

· Must be able to interpret manufacturing drawings.

· Previous experience in programming / setting press brakes.

(Trumpf or Amada experience preferred)

· Previous experience in operating press brakes or panel benders

· Understand bend allowance / deduction formulas.

· Possess a valid Forklift licence.

· Open to working overtime if required.

Offline 3d programming experience would be an advantage but not essential.

· Duties will include:

· Programming and setting of press brakes.

· Operation of press brakes.

· "Operator level" maintenance of press brakes.

· Fabricating components / assemblies to the relevant production drawing.

· Use of forklift to load and unload jobs to the relevant machine.

· QC inspection of components.

· Salary will be determined by the successful applicants experience and qualifications.
