We are looking for a skilled CNC Plasma/Oxy Machine Operator and a skilled Press Brake Operator.

Based in Meadowbrook manufacturing steel plating.

Immediate Start, Ongoing role that will lead to Permanent for the right candidate. 

Qualifications:Equivalent work experience in a related field such as warehouse, sheet metal workshop, for the right people training will be provided.

Experience:

A background in Steel Manufacturing is required.

Duties involved in steel manufacturing, pressing, rolling, and plasma and laser cutting is advantageous.

Starting rate $30 an hour plus penalty rates for OT

Skills:

  • Demonstrate reliability and self-motivation in daily tasks, showcasing a strong work ethic both independently and as an integral part of the team.
  • Demonstrated dedication to supporting machine operations and maintaining high standards of performance.
  • Reliability and self-motivation in completing assigned tasks and collaborating within a team environment.
  • Excellent work ethic, both individually and as part of a collaborative workforce.
  • Aptitude for rapid learning, coupled with the willingness to receive and apply training effectively.
  • Possession of a forklift ticket is advantageous.
  • Experience with overhead crane operation is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance
