Construction Lead – Landmark Green Hydrogen Project | FIFO from Perth

We're representing a major international EPCM responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up of this groundbreaking hydrogen facility. With construction in full swing, we're now seeking an experienced Construction Lead to help deliver one of the country's most important energy transition projects.

The Role

As Construction Lead, you'll provide on-site leadership and interface with engineering, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient execution of construction activities. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships in a high-risk environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving construction execution, progress, and safety across SMP works.
  • Acting as focal point between engineering, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Overseeing constructability reviews, planning, and scheduling.
  • Providing technical guidance and problem-solving support onsite.
  • Supporting cost, schedule, and quality control to ensure on-time delivery.

About You

  • Degree qualification or trade background with extensive construction leadership experience.
  • Strong SMP construction profile, ideally with commissioning exposure.
  • Proven background in onshore plant construction within oil & gas or heavy industry.
  • Ability to thrive in remote FIFO environments and drive accountability across diverse teams.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in oil & gas or energy projects, with at least 10 focused on construction engineering.

  • Contract Duration: Until the end of 2025
  • Roster: 2:1 FIFO from Perth (11-hour site days)
  • Start: ASAP – office induction in Perth prior to mobilisation
