About the role
The Director of Bradfield Senior College is responsible for leading and managing the operational and educational delivery within the college. You will provide strategic leadership and advice to ensure effective management of operations. Implementing delivery and operational plans that support quality and innovative teaching practices is a key aspect of the role.
This is a dynamic leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in complex environments, is passionate about educational innovation, and is committed to building an inclusive, high-performing team who deliver real value to students. You will be joining a statewide faculty for the creative and services industries and contributing to delivering talented graduates on their pathway to their careers and to tertiary education.
About You
Bradfield Senior College is seeking a compassionate and visionary Director to lead a team of approximately 25 dedicated teachers and support staff, and to champion an inclusive, student-centred learning environment. You will bring a deep understanding of the unique needs of students who may not thrive in mainstream education, many of whom identify across a spectrum of sexual orientations, learning backgrounds, and support needs. With empathy and professionalism, you will foster a culture of belonging, respect, and excellence.
You will have:
- A degree in a related field of education or demonstrable equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
- Outstanding and inspirational educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a senior college focused on the delivery of high-quality school and vocational education.
- Demonstrated capacity to contribute to strategic, business and operational management and implement priorities.
- Demonstrated experience in the management, development and delivery of customer focused high quality education and training programs and services.
- Demonstrated understanding of leading-edge technology with its application in e-learning for senior school/vocational students with diverse learning styles.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the college, TAFE NSW and educational community.
