Obadare is Australia's only American Petroleum Institute (API) 4F licensed CSG rig builder, and now our own OEM product range is expanding we are seeking profession and competent people to join our abrasive blast and painting team.

As the business has grown significantly, we are seeking a skilled sand blaster or experienced TA to help with all operations of surface treatment ideally flexible person between day and afternoon shifts. This will include manual handling, forklift operations, loading and unloading blast and paint booths, taping up surfaces for protection and learning the basic of the painting process.

Abrasive blasting is a tough role, with multiple hours in a blast suit and helmet within an environment which is loud and dusty. Appropriate PPE will be issued by the company, however the individual has to be able to enjoy working in this environment.

Ideal Requirements for the role:

• Ability to work day or afternoon shifts
• Car or Truck Licence
• Forklift Licence (Or we can put you through training)
• Good production skills and safe manual handling
• Reliable and trust worthy
• Ability to work overtime and some weekends

Obadare work a standard 40 hour week with overtime rostered in advance. Currently the crews are doing 45 to 55 hour weeks with standard overtime rates above the 40 hours per week. This role is permanent full-time
