Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 3,000 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an Accountant to join our Costing team and the wider Finance Division. Based at our new CBD head office, this position is offered on a full time permanent basis.

THE ROLE

You will be partnering with another Accountant and reporting to the Financial Controller as part of a high-performing Finance Team that is supportive, agile and has established processes and deadlines.

Duties include:

  • Creating and posting of EOM accruals for external costs
  • Liaising with Procurement and AP regarding transactional queries
  • Overseeing document controls database (M-Files) to ensure adherence to defined workflows
  • EOM Review and Commentary of COGS for a range of entities
  • Fortnightly reconciliation and approval of external Labour Hire Invoices
  • Updating weekly payroll and AP commitments forecast for cashflow management
  • Setup and maintaining payment schedule for commercial/residential rental properties
  • Generating external/intercompany invoices for Linkforce Group
  • Ad hoc cost reporting to various stakeholders
  • Supporting other areas of Finance as required
  • Supporting both internal/external audit processes

ABOUT YOU

  • Tertiary qualification in Accountancy
  • Ideally CA/CPA qualified, or working towards
  • Demonstrated experience of 3+ years in a commercial accounting environment
  • Experience using Pronto
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Office 365
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and numeracy accuracy
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
