The Accountant works closely with finance leaders and operational teams, building strong internal relationships and providing backup support when required. This is a dynamic role within a collaborative environment that values innovation, accountability, and trust.

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing general ledger activities including accruals, journals, intercompany transactions, and consolidation entries.
  • Supporting internal and external audits by providing timely documentation and assisting with auditor queries.
  • Preparing and lodging monthly BAS/PAYG returns and assisting with cash management and payment scheduling.
  • Researching and advising on technical accounting matters, including drafting papers and assessing the impact of business changes.

What You Will Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting or a related discipline, along with a professional accounting designation (CA or CPA).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, with the ability to manage and transform financial data.
  • Experience using financial systems such as Xero, SAP, Analysis for Office, and Power BI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work independently and proactively.
