The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Automation Specialist to design, build and maintain process automation solutions using UiPath across our business operations. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Applications, and working closely with the Service Excellence team, you will be key to delivering automation that improves efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

This is a technical delivery role focused on developing RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions, from idea to implementation, while collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and document business processes for automation opportunities
  • Design and build attended and unattended bots using UiPath Studio and Orchestrator
  • Develop and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDD) and support materials
  • Integrate automation solutions with APIs, databases, and enterprise systems
  • Build secure, scalable, and modular automation solutions
  • Monitor and maintain bots post-deployment; troubleshoot and optimise performance
  • Work with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure platform stability and support
  • Apply exception handling, retry strategies, and best practices in all development
  • Collaborate with external vendors on system enhancements and issue resolution

Desired Experience and Competencies

  • Certification in UiPath or other leading RPA platforms
  • Familiarity with BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation)
  • Proven hands-on experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, Queues, Assets
  • Experience designing and deploying RPA solutions at scale
  • Knowledge of solution architecture principles, including security and scalability
  • Practical experience with API integration
  • Experience creating technical documentation such as SDDs and runbooks
  • Exposure to low-code platforms or workflow orchestration tools is a plus
