ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsibilities

- Develop and prepare testing documentation, including test strategies, plans, conditions, and cases, adhering to the Client System Delivery Methodology (SDM).
- Execute testing across various System Readiness test phases: Systems Test, Systems Integration Test, Stress, Volume and Performance testing (SVP), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Manage defect resolution and release processes, including raising and monitoring defects.
- Generate comprehensive testing reports and statistics as required.
- Participate in formal reviews of key project artifacts (e.g., business and functional requirements) and conduct peer reviews of testing documentation.
- Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships within the agency, and, when necessary, lead or manage work teams.

Qualifications and Experience

- A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in IT testing, encompassing the use of testing management products and test automation.
- Proven ability to thrive in an Agile (Scrum) project environment.
- Desirable knowledge of, or the capacity to quickly acquire knowledge of, Client systems and underlying technologies (e.g., Java, Siebel / Oracle Fusion, ESB, PeopleSoft, Datawarehouse/Datalake).
- Desirable knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, Microsoft SharePoint and MS Dynamics CRM application testing.
- End-to-end functional test automation experience.
- Solid commercial IT experience with at least 2-5 years in application software testing, particularly involving complex animated controls for MS dynamics and HTML5 constructs, utilizing the following tools:
- - Selenium engine with C#

- MS Team Foundation Server/DevOps

- Microsoft Visual Studio

- JMeter

- ReadyAPI

- Proficiency with MS DevOps test management.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.
- Superior analytical abilities to simplify complex issues and propose effective solutions.
- Demonstrated success collaborating within project teams in fast-paced program environments.
- Ability to work independently and deliver the outcome on time within budget.
