As a Paraplanner at Melloy Independent Wealth, you will provide support in preparing and implementing financial advice. This newly created role has come about due to business growth and offers the chance to work directly with Jon in a boutique, client-first environment. We are looking for someone who values integrity and who is motivated to contribute to the success of both our clients and the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs) and supporting documentation
  • Assist with the implementation of advice strategies and liaise with providers
  • Maintain accurate records and workflows
  • Ensure compliance and quality standards are consistently met
  • Provide efficient support that enables the adviser to focus on strategy and client relationships

About You

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a paraplanning or financial planning support role
  • Relevant RG146 compliance in financial planning (minimum requirement)
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning strategies and products
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Integrity and commitment to delivering quality advice documentation
  • Experience with Plutosoft is highly regarded or similar financial planning software
