Rehmat K Pty Ltd T/A Max Auto and Smash is looking for a Full time Heavy Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team.

Salary Range - $ $85000

Business Location - Maddingley VIC 3340

Key Responsibilities

  • Detect and diagnose faults in engines and vehicle components.
  • Dismantle, repair, and reassemble engine assemblies, transmissions,steering mechanisms, suspension, and braking systems.
  • Replace worn and defective parts using manufacturer specificationsand service manuals.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications, andengine tune-ups to ensure vehicles run efficiently and comply withemission standards.
  • Test, adjust, and calibrate repaired mechanical parts to confirm properperformance.
  • Use diagnostic equipment and computer systems to test vehiclecomponents.
  • Inspect vehicles, provide roadworthiness assessments, and identifyrequired repairs.

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification).
  • Proven experience in diesel motor and heavy vehicle mechanics.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
