Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Weploy HQ Full time
Join Weploy's Growing Talent Team as a Talent Consultant

At Weploy, we're on a mission to make recruitment not suck. We understand the set backs job seekers experience and the role traditional recruitment agencies can play in that. We've built our own in-house technology to make a difference; a job seeking platform which gives you access to new jobs, only with trusted and vetted partners so we know you're walking into great companies and even better roles.

Our Talent Team works as one, always collaborating, and taking the time & care with our Weployees (candidates) so we can connect them to exceptional experiences.

We're growing our vibrant Talent Team and on the look out for ambitious professionals who are eager to launch into a rewarding career in recruitment. We've got the right team ready to train you up and teach you the ropes. All you need is the right mindset and a willingness to dive in head first.

Why You'll Love Working at Weploy
  • Career acceleration - We'll teach you everything you need to know to master recruitment through our academy training and personal mentor

  • Competitive package with performance-based bonus - we offer a competitive salary and team-based incentives that reward impact and collaboration

  • Supportive, collaborative culture - inclusive, innovation‑driven team that work together

  • Remote lifestyle - Monday to Friday, from the comfort of your own home (you must be based in Melbourne)

Your Role as a Talent Consultant

Campaign Driver: After your training academy ramp‑up, you will learn to design targeted talent campaigns, write engaging ads, craft outreach messages, screen applicants and keep the pipeline flowing.

Acquisition Specialist: Conduct high‑volume phone calls each day, learn the ins and outs of video interviewing and assessment centres, confidently matching Weployees to client needs while delivering an outstanding candidate experience - supported by interview best practice training and real‑time guidance

Trusted Partner: Use your customer-facing experience to act as a true consultant to clients - guiding them through the hiring process, sharing market insights, and building long-term, strategic partnerships

Community Champion: Onboard successful candidates, celebrate their wins and keep our Weployee community engaged through check‑ins, icebreaker meetings and events

Problem Solver: When requisition volumes spike, you will prioritise, realign and propose creative sourcing ideas that keep delivery on track - drawing on troubleshooting frameworks and the collective brainpower of an always‑available team

What You Bring
  • One to two years in a KPI‑driven, people‑focused role such as sales, inbound or outbound call centre, event operations, retail or hospitality leadership

  • A confident, natural communicator who loves talking to people

  • A genuine interest in building a long term career in recruitment

  • Resilient mindset - you treat setbacks as an opportunity to push yourself and do your best and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable with daily targets, learning systems fast in a quick moving startup environment

  • Growth orientation - you give things a go, seek feedback, share ideas and jump at new projects

  • Recruitment experience is a bonus, but not essential

Ready to start something meaningful?

If you're excited to grow, ready to learn, and eager to help others find fulfilling work, we want to hear from you. Join a team that's changing recruitment for the better, and have a great time doing it.

Apply now and let's make work better, together.
