As their next Account Manager, you'll step into a pivotal role focused on maintaining and growing a key customer base across the North Coast and inland NSW, with the flexibility of a home office and the ability to manage your own busy call cycle.

About the Role

  • This is a field-based sales role predominantly covering the Central Coast and Newcastle, plus up to Port Macquarie and the border.
  • Well-established customers across tier two builders, contractors, and trade outlets such as Bunnings and specialist building materials suppliers
  • Plan and execute a regular call cycle across your region
  • Chase new business and introduce yourself to relevant trades
  • Use Excel and the CRM to run your own sales reports and track customer activity; a data-driven sales executive is essential
  • Collaborate closely with the internal sales and support team for seamless customer service
  • Attend relevant trade shows, trade breakfasts etc.

Who are you?

  • Experience in a field sales role, calling on builders and trades
  • Ability to build rapport with trades, builders, and small business owners is essential
  • Ownership of the Northern region of NSW and delivering an effective call plan that produces results
  • Ability to dig into sales reports, uncover trends and opportunities
  • Strong commercial acumen -
    you sell on value, not price
  • A trade background or building products knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • You hold a current driver's license
