The Role

You'll be responsible for designing robust, hygienic, and high-performance mechanical systems tailored to the unique demands of food and meat processing environments. From concept to commissioning, your work will directly impact operational outcomes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor
  • Design machinery and components that meet hygiene, safety, and performance standards specific to the food and meat industries
  • Perform classical engineering calculations to validate structural integrity, mechanical performance, and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including fabrication, controls, and compliance
  • Support documentation for regulatory approvals and client handover
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in design methodology

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Proven experience designing machinery for food and/or meat processing environments
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor is essential
  • Strong grasp of classical calculation methods (e.g. stress, strain, torque, load analysis)
  • Understanding of hygienic design principles and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to quality
