These businesses have strong safety cultures and are delivering great projects across civil infrastructure, mining, and urban development.

About the Role 

These positions offer the chance to step into key roles supporting the safe and efficient delivery of major civil and mining projects. You'll be working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and project leadership to maintain compliance, lead safety initiatives, and promote a strong, proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HSE advice and support to site and project teams across civil construction works.
  • Conduct HSE audits, site inspections, incident investigations, and deliver targeted training to reinforce a positive safety culture.
  • Uphold and communicate project and client-specific HSE standards, implementing strategies to continuously improve safety outcomes.
  • Assist with the rollout, maintenance, and ongoing management of the HSE system, including key documentation and registers.
  • Ensure site compliance with relevant safety procedures and expectations through effective engagement with all stakeholders.

About You

  • 4+ years' experience in a Safety Advisor role within the Civil, Mining or renewables industry
  • Minimum Certificate IV in OHS or higher.
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of appropriate Australian Safety legislation, standards and codes.
  • Demonstrated ability in advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
