What's the role on offer?

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Brisbane. In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting across the business.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading month-end processes, including journal preparation and reconciliations across multiple ledgers
• Preparing and reviewing financial reports, statements, and management summaries to support decision-making
• Managing taxation requirements including BAS, FBT, PAYG, GST, and ensuring ongoing compliance
• Coordinating cash flow forecasts, payment runs, and banking activities to maintain strong financial control
• Supporting audits, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives across systems and procedures
• Partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver accurate, insightful financial outcomes

Who we are looking for:

You're a detail-oriented professional with a passion for delivering high-quality financial outcomes and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. You'll bring sound accounting knowledge, a collaborative attitude, and the confidence to take ownership of your work.

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA/CA qualified or working towards it)
• Has 2–3 years' experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within aviation or a complex organisation
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure
• Has experience using TechnologyOne or similar financial/ERP systems
• Communicates clearly and builds trusted relationships across teams and departments
• Is adaptable, detail-focused, and committed to continuous improvement in all areas of finance
