We're seeking a compassionate and culturally responsive Manager, Services to provide leadership and guidance across our domestic, family, and sexual violence programs walking alongside Aboriginal families and communities with a focus on safety, healing, and self-determination.

About the role
As the Manager Services, you will provide operational leadership to ensure the effective delivery of culturally safe, trauma-informed programs supporting Aboriginal individuals and families impacted by domestic, family, and sexual violence.
You'll oversee a dedicated transdisciplinary team, build strong partnerships with community and sector stakeholders, and ensure services are responsive, accountable, and grounded in Aboriginal ways of knowing, being, and doing.
In this role, you will:
Lead and support a team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed casework and support services.
Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring compliance with funding, reporting, and legislative requirements.
Drive a culture of reflective practice, professional development, and staff wellbeing.
Strengthen partnerships with organisations such as BaptistCare and Relationships Australia to ensure coordinated, wraparound responses for clients and families.
Provide cultural and clinical leadership during critical incidents, risk assessments, and case reviews.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with Aboriginal communities, service partners, and key stakeholders.
Represent EDAS in interagency meetings, forums, and community events to promote collaborative approaches to family safety and healing.
You bring:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, or a related field (or significant equivalent experience).
Demonstrated experience in leading programs within domestic and family violence, child protection, or community services contexts.
Proven ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams.
Deep understanding of intergenerational trauma, Aboriginal kinship systems, and the cultural needs of Aboriginal families.
Strong communication, advocacy, and organisational skills.
A commitment to cultural integrity, client-led practice, and empowering community voices.
