These identified positions are open to women and gender diverse people.

  • Salary:  Social & Community Services Level 4 | $44.58 to $47.97 per hour + Super

About the team

The Gendered Violence and Family Programs Team provided a vital role in supporting cis, non-binary and gender diverse women and their families impacted by domestic and family violence.

Joining our Gendered Violence and Family Programs Team means becoming part of a passionate group committed to trauma-informed, client-centred care and meaningful social change.

About these opportunities

In these roles, you'll have the chance to work across a range of programs, including Domestic and Family Violence, Safe House Support, Keeping Women Safe in Their Homes (Darwin and Katherine), and HomeSafe.

As a Case Manager, you will deliver client-centred case management to individuals who have experienced domestic or family violence.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver crisis intervention, risk and safety planning, and holistic support under YWCA frameworks.
  • Conduct intake assessments using the NT Common Risk Assessment Tool.
  • Facilitate property safety upgrades in collaboration with clients.
  • Build respectful relationships with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and reports; participate in after-hours on-call roster.

About You

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in culturally appropriate, strength-based case work with women affected by domestic and family violence.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and family violence issues, including legal, child protection, and policy frameworks.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
