The Role

As General Manager, you'll lead the management team across manufacturing, sales, finance, quality, HR, and product development. Your role will be to deliver the business strategy, ensure profitability, and foster a high-performance culture.

This is not a short-term role, it is a chance to embed yourself in a company that values loyalty, innovation, and sustainable growth. You'll work closely with the owners to guide the organisation, respect existing systems, and take an evolutionary approach to change.

Key responsibilities will include
:

  • Leading the management team and mentoring future leaders.
  • Delivering on strategic and financial goals. (full P&L responsibility)
  • Driving operational performance and continuous improvement (LEAN, Six Sigma, 5S an advantage).
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legislative, quality, and safety requirements.

About You

We are seeking an energetic, innovative leader with a background in manufacturing. You may currently be a Manufacturing Manager, Sales Manager, or Commercial Manager, ready to take the next step into a senior leadership role, or a General Manager looking for a new challenge.

To succeed, you will bring:

  • Proven leadership experience, managing teams and driving performance.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financials and manufacturing numbers.
  • Experience in manufacturing is essential
  • Packaging experience is a bonus.
  • Exposure to LEAN / Six Sigma / 5S or other modern manufacturing methodologies.
  • The ability to balance innovative thinking with respect for systems and structure.
  • A long-term outlook and commitment to building something lasting.
