The Role
Our client, a Sydney CBD based financial services company, has a requirement for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator. If you have 7+ years working as an Oracle DBA, preferably with a financial services background, we'd love to hear from you.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of7+ years' experience supporting Oracle database systems, preferably within the financial services industry
- Experience with Linux / UNIX / Windows, and Oracle technologies including RAC, Exadata and Oracle Cloud
- DB design, security and encryption, upgrades and maintenance, backup and recovery, patching
- Strong scripting skills / automation
- Experience working with ITIL
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders customers to design and develop solutions based on technical requirements which meet business needs.
Solid documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, challenging environment. Excellent remuneration for the right person.
