About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our Transport Team on a permanent full-time basis, based in Gladstone, QLD.  This role will be reporting to the Terminal Manager and is a critical component of our operational and client services function for our Gladstone business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely and efficient delivery of our products to meet client requirements
  • Loading and unloading of vehicle tankers
  • Undertaking regular multi-drop/bulk deliveries
  • Rigid / Linehaul work will require overnight travel
  • Adherence to both company and client site operational and HSE requirements
  • Acting as a face for the business and maintaining a high professional standard at all times

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • A current Heavy Vehicle (MC) licence as a minimum
  • Road Ranger experience
  • Demonstrated experience within transport operations
  • Experience in multi-drop deliveries - desirable, but not essential
  • Demonstrable commitment to high quality customer service
  • Mechanical knowledge - desirable, but not essential
  • Current TLIF0005 - Apply Fatigue Management Strategies (BFM) qualifications or the willingness to obtain
  • A current DG licence or willing to obtain
  • Hazard Facility and/or Fuel/Chemical industry Dangerous Goods experience would be highly regarded
