About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Haulage Truck Driver to join our team at BH Mining and Civil in Gladstone, Queensland. This is a casual role, and requires travel away from time to time.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating heavy haulage trucks, including prime movers, semi-trailers and low loaders
  • Transporting a variety of heavy equipment, machinery and materials to and from worksites
  • Performing daily pre-start checks and minor maintenance on assigned vehicles
  • Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety protocols and company policies
  • Maintaining detailed records of deliveries, driving hours and vehicle inspections
  • Any other adhoc work that is required to be undertaken

What we're looking for

  • Valid Multi Combination (MC) driver's licence
  • Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) operating heavy haulage trucks in a similar role
  • Excellent driving skills and a strong focus on safety
  • Knowledge of heavy vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
