The Role: Heavy Vehicle / Trailer Mechanics

We are seeking a full-time Heavy Vehicle / Trailer Mechanic to work on the servicing and repairs of our commercial tanker products.

  • Perform inspections, routine maintenance and mechanical repairs to heavy vehicles and trailers.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.

You:

  • Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle or Trailer Mechanic (or similar trade) with 2 years post-trade experience
  • Experience in:
  • Auto Electrical
  • Pneumatics
  • Hydraulics
  • Suspension
  • Air brake systems
  • Ability to read & interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with heavy vehicle trailers and tankers would be highly regarded.
  • HC or MC driver's license would be highly regarded.
