About the role

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant – Nurses to join our thriving team in Toowoomba, Queensland. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and placing qualified nursing professionals into rewarding roles within the healthcare industry. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career advancement and personal growth.

The role offers flexible location options and can be based out of any ARA Group office.

What you'll be doing

  • Source and screen candidates through job boards, referrals and internal databases.
  • Conduct interviews and assess qualifications, experience and cultural fit.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including onboarding, compliance checks and contract coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare facilities and nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate records in the recruitment system and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with placement specialists to ensure smooth transitions and high retention.
  • Attend recruitment events and expos as needed.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in recruitment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with AHPRA registration and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in recruitment software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to candidate care.
