Role Details:

In this full-time ongoing role as Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will proactively source and secure niche technical and leadership talent for identified divisions across the wider business. Providing best-in-class recruitment service delivery, you will proactively manage the recruitment process to ensure your stakeholders are supported from requisition to offer management through to onboarding. Working 3 days from the office, you will also spend some time working from sites located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

About the team

Joining a team of 18 Talent Acquisition professionals, you will become part of a centralised function that supports all Visy divisions across Australia and New Zealand in securing top salaried talent. The team comprises of TA Admin, TA Specialist, TA Systems and TA Leadership.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process incl. job briefing, offer negotiation, sourcing / screening candidates, etc.
  • Proactively source talent through strategic talent marketing and engagement activities (LinkedIn, ATS mining, etc.)
  • Develop and nurture talent pools for frequently recruited roles
  • Socialise Visy's value proposition and external careers messaging
  • Use external talent market intelligence to inform and educate people leaders

What You Will Bring:

  • In-depth expertise in technical and or engineering recruitment
  • Demonstrated success in heavy industry / manufacturing / natural resources recruitment
  • Demonstrated internal talent acquisition experience
  • Solid stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Demonstrated success in placements made through proactive sourcing activities
