We are seeking a talented individual to join our Real Estate Team at Marsh. This role is available in either our Melbourne or Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days in the office.
As a
Principal Broker, Real Estate,
you will lead, manage and support a small team who play a pivotal role in managing and growing our portfolio of Real Estate Agents, and Commercial Property Owner clients' insurance requirements and placements. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships, understanding client needs, and providing expert advice on insurance products and services. This position requires a proactive approach to client servicing, an understanding of the real estate insurance landscape, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
We will count on you to:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Commercial Property clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all insurance-related inquiries and needs.
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and services, ensuring comprehensive coverage and effective risk management strategies.
- Oversee the policy renewal process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, and negotiate terms with insurance carriers to secure the best coverage and pricing for clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and risk management, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
What you need to have:
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or Equivalent)
- Insurance broking experience, ideally looking after an SME or commercial book
- Prior experience managing a small team
- Strong knowledge of retail and domestic insurance products
- Experience in developing risk management strategies tailored to client needs.
- Proven track record of successfully managing client portfolios and achieving sales targets.
