About the role
Are you a confident leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for credit control and customer experience? IOR are looking for a proactive and results-driven Manager –Accounts Receivable and Credit to lead our AR and collections function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- As a key member of our finance leadership team, you will oversee the end-to-end credit and AR operations, driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. You'll lead a team, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure our credit policies support healthy cash flow and customer satisfaction. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead and mentor the Credit and AR team, fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence
- Develop and implement credit control strategies to optimise collections and minimise risk
- Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers and ensure customer credit limits and payment terms are maintained within policy guidelines
- Monitor aged debt reports and drive timely resolution of outstanding accounts
- Oversee customer credit assessments, approvals, and payment terms
- Manage escalated AR queries and complex account reconciliations
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve billing issues and improve processes
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management
