About the role
Are you a confident communicator with a passion for credit control and customer service? IOR are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Credit and Accounts Receivable Officer to join our positive and dynamic team. As a member of our finance team, you will be assisting with the end-to-end credit collections process while also supporting general accounts receivable functions. Your day-to-day will include:
- Proactively following up on outstanding debts via phone and email
- Handling inbound AR-related queries and resolving account discrepancies
- Processing credit card payments over the phone
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and payment arrangements
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing issues
About you
You're someone who builds genuine relationships and feels energised by helping businesses and communities thrive. You take pride in managing accounts with precision and care ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate records, and upholding compliance with credit policies.
Whether you're liaising with customers or collaborating across teams, you treat IOR's financial assets with integrity and professionalism, reflecting the trust placed in you to keep our operations running smoothly.
- Previous experience in credit collections or accounts receivable
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A customer-first mindset with a professional phone manner
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 an advantage but not essential
