We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced professionals for multiple upcoming construction projects in Western Australia

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a reputable and well-established company, known for delivering high-quality projects in the resources and infrastructure sectors.

The work will be site-based, operating on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off (2/1) DIDO/FIFO roster, with attractive rates and a strong, supportive team environment.

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Quantity Surveyors

Working alongside Project Managers, Design Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, Consultants, Sub-Contractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects within budget.

Key Responsibilities:**

  • Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate project costs, including materials, labour, and equipment, ensuring alignment with project budgets. A thorough understanding in measuring and taking off quantities.
  • Contract Management: Prepare, manage, and monitor contracts, including managing invoicing processes with clients, contractors, and vendors. Strong negotiation skills a must.
  • Project Monitoring: Oversee project progress to ensure compliance with contract terms, design specifications, and project timelines. Experience in formulating delay and extension of time claims is requisite.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Utilize forecasting techniques to maintain accurate cash flow projections, ensuring sufficient funds are available for project execution.
  • Contract Administration: Ensure all parties, including contractors and vendors, comply with the terms and conditions of contracts and subcontracts.
  • Reporting & Risk Management - Maintain registers (variations, RFIs, risks, procurement) and provide timely commercial updates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications & Skills required:

  • A background in Quantity Surveying (QS) is required.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry including development, contracting and consulting sectors;
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
