**THE OPPORTUNITY**

One of our major clients' Project Team are urgently requiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor for major works in the Northern Territory.

Managing all construction and civil engineering costs, this is a major role that needs to be filled as soon as possible.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Director of Procurement Contracts, this scope of work will be from start to finish. Projected to be at least 12 months, this role will be for anyone that likes to be busy

**Responsibilities (including but not limited to)**:

- Controlling and monitoring costs to ensure project completion along with identifying cost variances between planning, budgets and forecasts
- Budget/ Tender reconciliation, change management and variance analysis
- Prepare estimates, quantities and costing for project

**ABOUT YOU**
- Tertiary or Trade Qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Experience within Mining or Civil projects
- Excellent communication skills to ensure negations are smooth
- Experience with contract terms and legislation interpretation
