Architectus are seeking a Media Relations Lead to champion our projects, people and initiatives by leading high-impact media campaigns that position us at the forefront of design innovation. In this contract role, you'll shape the conversations we have with our clients, collaborators and peers, helping us expand our appeal, relevance and unique proposition in the market.

As part of a national Communications team in one of Australasia's largest and most diverse design firms, you'll play a key role in elevating our brand and amplifying our voice.

What you'll do:

  • Lead proactive and reactive media campaigns aligned to business objectives
  • Unearth compelling story angles with project teams across sectors and locations
  • Build strong relationships with clients, collaborators and media
  • Champion the Architectus brand and recruit ambassadors across the practice
  • Develop media kits including releases, pitches, quotes, bios, briefs and articles
  • Manage key sponsorships, memberships, events and speaking opportunities
  • Deliver reporting, analysis and media list management

What you'll bring:

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills to write compelling media releases
  • Strong ability to translate complex information into engaging content
  • Confidence to influence, engage, and inspire stakeholders
  • Sharp attention to detail and ability to juggle deadlines
  • Genuine passion for design, sustainability and the future of the built environment
  • 4+ years' experience in a relevant media and / or communications role
  • Microsoft Office and Adobe suite skills (intermediate to advanced)
